(Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May is planning to have an extended discussion on Brexit at next Tuesday's cabinet meeting in hopes of outlining a compromise deal on the Irish border, The Times reported on Wednesday.

Pattaya: Vacant plot owners urged to put up fences to deter littering and fly-tipping

Extended canal shuttle services could ease Bangkok congestion by end of year

Myanmar worker arrested for allegedly killing Thai worker in Nakhon Pathom

A Myanmar worker allegedly killed a Thai worker while they were drinking together in Nakhon Pathom's Muang district on Tuesday night, then called their boss and asked him to alert police.

LONDON (Reuters) - Mental health disorders are on the rise in every country in the world and could cost the global economy up to $16 trillion between 2010 and 2030 if a collective failure to respond is not addressed, according to an expert report on Tuesday.

GT200 supplier gets another nine years in jail

Avia Satcom Co Ltd and its top executive, Suttiwat Wattanakij, were found guilty of fraud in Don Mueang Kwaeng Court on Wednesday for supplying the Justice Ministry’s Central Institute of Forensic Science with GT200 devices that it falsely claimed could detect hidden bombs and narcotics.

Driver Fined 6,000 Baht For Lorry Crash That Flattened Car

BANGKOK — A criminal court on Wednesday found the driver of an 18-wheeler guilty of drunk driving for flattening another car in a May accident, in which the victim narrowly escaped death.

GT200 bomb detector company charged with selling fake products

BANGKOK, 10th October 2018 (NNT) - Don Mueng Kwaeng Court has sentenced an exectuive of Avia Satcom Co. Ltd, to nine years in prison for selling sub-standard GT200 remote substance detectors to the Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS).

BMTA NGV buses to have fares raised from Oct 15

BANGKOK, 10th October 2018 (NNT) – The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) is to begin using a new fare rate for its NGV buses starting on October 15 in line with resolutions made by the Central Land Transport Commission but assured commuters the adjustment will only apply to new buses.
