Best Dermatologist / Hospital In Phuket?

Hi All,

Spending a lot of time out in the sun lately, and just read a rather "disturbing" article about the various forms of skin cancer due to sun exposure. I am rather fair-sknned and have quite a few "new" freckles / moles on my back and chest and really want to have them checked-out.

Looking for the best Dermatologist or Hospital Dermatology Dept. on the Island. Money is NOT an issue, but quality care IS.

If not available, then will go to Bumrungrad in BKK.

Well I have nothing to report on this place but I saw Phuket Bangkok has a skin clinic on the second floor.. I tend to view the hospital in general as having high service levels (better than home on NHS by far) but they do pad bills.

My GF has been seeing a skin clinic on Phra Baramee Rd who seem very professional and are doing some work to improve some minor acne scarring she has.. She had seen some awful quacks who were basically rebottling hand cream and just snake oil sellers IMO. This one seems good.

Cant advise from a melonomia point of view but try BKK hospital first if your not too budget concious.
