Not sure

Recommended Posts

Don't know if that is the right forum to post this it is not just a technical question but it involves private matters

So let me ask the first question

Is anybody connected to Face Book?

I guess there are some which will not amid

Second question is the important one for me

If you are talking to some one on Face book

and that person is on line and tells you I go

off line and still is on line according to Messenger

is that just a technical glitch or is that person

lying to you ?

this person is not even on my list yes she was

but she has changed her name so many times

she updated her profile at the same day many

times under different names ok here we go I met

her a few month back in BKK and we had a great

time

All I like to know if you are on Face Book and you

turn off your phone can you still be on line to

anybody

My understanding is as follows. If some tells you they are going "offline" on FB and you can still see that there is a green dot beside their name in the "chat" section on the far right. Then they have not logged off from FB and are "live" and active. If you have opened FB either on your phone, tablet, laptop or computer, then simply turning any one of them off does not mean you have turned off FB. To do that you have to log off.

Don't get grumpy if there's no immediate response to your post, some people don't know the answer(s) and some people don't care.

Regards,

Joe

It could be they have left the screen but "not logged out", so they would appear as though still online, Facebook can do this and keep you permanently "online" to receive messages etc and updates to profiles and so on.

Doesn't mean anyone is deceiving you. Personally, I wouldn't trust anyone or anything unless I knew them personally. Its full of scams and "entrepeneurs". You think your are talking to a female and its a facebook factory in Sakhorn nowhere, or some bored hairy arsed trucker winding you up!

Charlie I thank you for that I leave on my internet all day because I don't pay for it

but she tells me she turns her phone off every night so she tells me but according

to the signals I get she is still on line and she tells me she just get commercials

what make her phone switch on and I don't believe that ones your phone is off you

will get no anything Ok I met her in BKK for a while and she seems nice and she is coming to see me in the new year

I'm sure this is wrong...switching off your connection to FB isn't enough. You have to log out to be unavailable.

Joe

Correct ! you must "log out" which most don't, they just close the app which actually does nothing from an "online" point of view.
