Fishing Rod Travel Case

Hi, 

 

Does anyone here know where in Bangkok can I buy good cases for fishing rods? Ones that you could use for flight check-in/travelling.

 

Any material would do but I prefer hard case. Thanks!

There are a couple of shops selling all kinds of fishing equipment on the outskirts of Chinatown.
The alternative is to take your rod(S) with you to a DIY shop. The blue water pipes make great rod cases, they are very strong and don’t weigh much.
Once you chosen the correct diameter of blue pipe, the shop will cut it to the correct length.
Various ways of sealing the ends with gaffer tape and plastic bowl/bottles.

You can try 7seas proshop. They have some in-house gard cases for rods.
