skraach Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 If my wife is majority shareholder of Thai company and also gets salary as director of the company, can she use Thai government social security or must she organize her own health insurance, retirement, etc.? If I am majority shareholder and also receive salary as manager, can I join social security, or is it same story? Can anyone give info about this before I contact social security office?
Gulfsailor Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Director / major shareholder cannot use the social security scheme and must privately insure. I'm not sure what percentage ownership is the limit though.
