Nearly there for our second Visitors Visa attempt! Just want to finish the sponsor letter and want to get it right.

So should i mention we failed in our first application at the end of November 06 and the fact that i went to see her instead for a week in December.

Also a minor question, is it better hand written or typed?

The embassy will be aware from their own records that your girlfriend was previously refused a visa, so, yes, do address the issue in your sponsor's letter. Explain how circumstances are now different from the first application.

As Scouse says, address the reason for the previous refusal and what has changed to make this no longer relevant.

I would recommend typing it, as this makes it easier to read.
