For many years it was almost routine that 3-4 times a year the police would round up all the Uzbek hookers on Walking Street and deport them. It happened so often and seemingly at regular intervals. So much so that one time someone claimed I was "full of ****" when I posted about it so I went back and copied all the threads on TV over the previous couple of years that were about Uzbek hookers being rounded up and deported.
I wasn't "full of ****". Over the course of a couple of years, the "round-ups happened every 3-4 months. (Not sure if they stopped doing those round-ups or I just didn't notice any stories about them for a long time. It's been a few years now since the last time I heard of them doing a similar round-up (of Uzbek hookers) until this story.

I had a theory that they were being brought in and put to work, but after a couple of months probably either were earning less, or putting more in their own pockets than in their handler's, so their handler's would "tip off" the police who would dutifully round them up and deport them. (Saves having to pay for their plane tickets home now, doesn't it ?) They probably flew out on the same plane that brought the next batch in.

And who were their customers ? Apparently they liked to stroll up and down Walking Street looking for old white guys sitting alone in beer bars. Why ?

Because many of those Uzbek hookers spoke reasonable English and a lot of those old white guys couldn't speak a word of Thai (or understand anything any of the Thai girls were saying).
So when a "white" girl suddenly appears that speaks decent English and is "willing", well, a lot of those lonely old white guys were easy targets and didn't mind if the girl wasn't a slim little brown honey.

And it you think those girls aren't high on the "hot list" - you should see the ones that go to places like Kabul to work in the Chinese restaurants there, where they advertise that the "nightly special" also includes food !
(The joke being that you go to the restaurant and pick which girl you want and go to a room, but the price includes a meal as well.)
Every couple of weeks or so they'd "rotate" the girls back to Urumqi (Western China). Sometimes it would happen while I was at the airport in Kabul (escorting employees in/out) and I'd see a couple dozen women heading out and sure enough, not long after a couple dozen new ones would walk out of the arrivals area to be met by the mommasan.

(The other lol was apparently that there was a double pricing policy in effect there as well. There was the "foreigner" price, but any Afghani that wanted a "special meal deal" had to pay double !)

The real "lookers" go to places like Dubai and Abu Dhabi where they work as "models".

This is my point about stopping this practice in Thailand. Foreign mafia gangs bringing girls in from abroad and taking them out on a rotation basis, or in other words, human trafficking. For a few weeks these women could be working in Thailand then next in the middle east, China, Europe or anywhere.

 

Main problem the Thai police have that once they deport one lot, the gangs simply bring in another batch to replace them and it becomes a vicious circle. I really think the police are fighting a losing battle in these cases the same as with drugs being brought into and sold in the country.

3800 baht is crazy .  And they look not sexy to me . Maybe some hi-so Arabs want white flesh , who knows. 

So the girls earns 500 baht and the Thai manager keep the rest . They get a free room to sleep in , and the manager keeps their passports so they can't travel anywhere. That's how it works.  

You better watch your back BJ , the mafia is powerful in Nana.
