Aussie fisherman first time in Thailand

Featured Replies

hi, Im Tim from Brisbane, coming to TH nov. 16th , I love saltwater fishing, would love to get contacts/informations about places to buy fishing gear and places to fish, any answer is highly aopreciated

cheers Tim

No fish left in the sea but plenty of fishing onshore.

I think freshwater fishing in Thailand is a lot better than saltwater fishing. For fishing store, 7seas Pro Shop is the best place to visit although a bit far from central Bangkok.

Ah you lucky son of a gun you’re living it up and fishing it up on the andaman coast with the Tunas, Trevallys, Dolphins, Wahoos, while most of the rest of us are stuck here in <deleted> overfished gulf of thailand where theres only red seabream and, if you’re lucky, maybe some king mackerel, cobia, and barracuda
