A friend of mine arrived at Suvarnabhumi this afternoon and posted this on his Facebook page that "Bangkok airport has now scrapped the Arrival Card system and all you need is a departure card from the plane. No more photos taken or long wait while they scan everything it’s a 30 second process and an immediate stamp".

I'm not sure what a "departure card from the plane" is, I've asked him for clarification, is anyone aware of any changes?

He also said "I still use VIP pre booked for £27 as the queuing is still up to 1 hour mid day. Straight through no waiting and to my bags worth it after a long flight", I thought they had stopped these paid for Fast Track card.
