Looks more like you've been mugged off by Tottenham, Ma Utd and Ronaldo all in the same week.

Not sure how you can be mugged off when you haven't forked any money out. Mugged off would have been paying Levy what he wanted. Bladdy backward jock thinking that pol

I'm wondering how many shares you have mrboj?

I could care less how much Levy spends to improve the team...just buy better players...NOW!

I explained our policy on transfer and fees on here a few times. In short, we set a value for a player with a bit of wriggle room. That is what we then bid, if the club doesn't accept that valuation and won't accept the bid, we walk. We have done it several times and will continue to do it. I said on here that I doubted very much there would be a deal if Levy stuck to a stupid figure because we will just walk away. That is what we did here with Kane and what we did with Ronaldo. Our job isn't to make other football clubs rich through us paying way over the top valuation's.

P.S. I have a very healthy portfolio of shares thanks and I buy to make money on them either through dividends or buying a share at a price I think is good value. I don't buy shares at double the cost of what I think they are worth.

That's about as thorough a beating as you're ever going to see.

The goons couldn't even see out a 4-0 banker against the side we thrashed 1-0 the other week.

Oh well 5-0 is good...shame you didn't get 10.

Apart from the 5 against Norwich last week.

Better stats from Norwich last week than Arsenal today.

Less than 20% possession. Not one shot on target or a corner.

Here is your annual mrboj pic....he wanted the dick pic...I said chip pic....so we settled on this.

<deleted> pornstar he is.

You've reached a new low Ronnie. In your attempt at humor you try to pass off that pitch as ours from yesterday. Do you have no shame? BTW. Who has a squad number of 64?

To all those who say "it's no problem, City will just buy another player" Well, we bought one player of note. Yes, he was expensive but we also recouped 60ish mil from selling players. This myth that we will just open the wallet and pay anything that a club demands for a player should really be put to bed once and for all

A quite interesting stat from Transfer Market on last 5 years spends.

Money spent in the last 5 years

Man United - €-533.37m

Man City - €-524.51m

Arsenal - €-374.20m

Chelsea - €-265.23m

Liverpool - €-174.11m

Trophies won in the last 5 years

Man City - 10

Chelsea - 4

Liverpool - 4

Arsenal - 3

Man United - 0

Don't shoot the messenger ????

Premier League - Transfer balance and five-year comparison | Transfermarkt

Another interesting article, it doesn't include Grealish and Varane and other new arrivals after the article was written in July but it does send a clear message to those who think only City spend money. I think another caveat is that Chelsea had a transfer ban in season 19/20 so their spend would have been much higher.

What are you on about? Give me a clue and I'll try to answer

As for my "narrative". I don't have one. I just hate it when people slag City off for spending big money when all the other big clubs are just as guilty. If I do have a "narrative" then it is purely to show the hypocrites for what they are

Well you are the only one who thinks so. The reason I posted it was clear and an honest question and it was topical from that weekend. If you think it was stirring the pot, then you obviously do get offended by it. That's all you needed to say. Many others just takes it as footy banter.

If this is the question to which you refer, apologies as I must have skipped over it.

I agree that if I was the manager another attacking mf wouldn't have been at the top of my list but we don't have the brilliance that is Pep. He has stated before about his love of midfielders and once joked he would have a full team of them if he could. Make no mistake, Pep will make Jack a better player and play him differently to how he was playing with Villa. He only likes versatile players who can play in several positions and I think Jack fits that bill. Maybe on the wing, attacking mf or even as a striker.

I posted the question 6 days ago ...you just conveniently chose to ignore it!

The tripe you have posted in response ...is just that... tripe.

Looks like Ederson (possible FIFA ban) and Steffen (Covid) might miss the weekend Another Carson comeback? Shame that irish kid is on loan as he looked pretty useful last night.

This FIFA ban is stupid. Even if Brazil didn't have the restrictions, I doubt Eddy would have played ahead of Alisson anyway. It's all ludicrous

Hard fought win that but deffo deserved the 3 points. I sometimes wonder what planet managers are on when the likes of Rodgers says "we deserved something out of that game"!!

We had 60.5% possession, 25 shots to their 6 and 8 on target to their 1 and Schmeichel was Leicesters best player. Anyway, 3 points rightly in the bag

Seems to be an automatic response nowadays when they interview the losing managers. Rose tinted glasses. Maybe they think the players will think better of them if it appears they are backing them.
