Banged up: Thai prison nightmare exposed by British tourist
When I was back from China, I wanted the work immediately, so I agreed to apply for a position with an agency per my friend's recommendation. But while working there, I found another job and it was direct with the school, without any agencies. When I submitted the resignation letter, following the contract's conditions, the owner stopped replying to my emails, messages, didn't pick up my calls and didn't let me see her in her office. British woman jailed after collecting debt from Thai millionaire

There was no indication that the debt collection was anything but a private arrangement of the British woman asking the Thai man for settlement. Your AI "answer" is referring to legal processes and court actions between the two countries which were not reported in the OP.
