Southport Killer Sentenced to Minimum of 52 Years for 'Pure Evil' Murders
Nah, fake news, wish it was true but he's even got the prison wrong. MoJ responds after reports Southport killer Axel Rudakubana was beaten up in Strangeways prison Axel Rudakubana is currently being held in a segregation unit at HMP Belmarsh due to fears for his safety among general prison population. The Ministry of Justice has also confirmed that the claims made in the audio recording are false. It is also unclear whether Rudakubana will remain at HMP Belmarsh in south-east London - a high-security prison designed to house the most dangerous offenders. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/moj-responds-reports-southport-killer-154005743.html -

Visa extension
She is non Thai. Seems you both over 50 and have both been obtaining extensions based on retirement hence the 800k each. Marriage to the "intended" (like that term) changes nothing. If you can afford afford the 800k each in Thai bank account each then fine. Frankly in your situation I would consider agent for you and partner separate extensions. -

Bangkok's Free Transport Initiative Sparks Criticism Amidst Haze Crisis
Well the air quality is a lot better today than in the past days. Amazing feat by the government to fix this so quickly. It must be very hard to arrange 50km/h strong wind to blow the dust away. Wonder how they've achieved that! Sarcasm off. -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
True IMHO. However there is more to this than just the monetary amount. The foreign income remitted must also be assessable income, where in addition to the Thai tax code, there are also Royal Decrees, DTAs. and Ministerial directives that affect the determination of assessable income. Thailand relies on self assessment. RD officials have stated that many times. .. That is not to say one won't be audited if the RD suspects one is not reporting all assessable income properly . Thailand has been doing just that for over 50 years. So do you believe that this will stop now? I guess we will see. Note: I believe that Thailand law should be followed in regards to income tax filing. The discussions some of us tend to be having is along the lines of precisely defining that assessable income given there is foreign remitted income that is exempt from Thailand taxation calculation. -

R4 Tractor tyres
I am in the middle of my move to Thailand at the moment. I am looking at a L Series Kubota with front end loader for what we want to do around our 11 acre farm. As everything comes with full ag tyres i am looking to see if the R4 tyres are available. for those that don’t know what R4 tyres are, they are in between the ag tyre and the lawn tyre. And help in finding these would be greatly appreciated
