I'm Thinkin the same.. can't remember the last time.. perhaps gazza linekers time when I had, as you say 'expectations' , the squad atm Is a lot deeper in strength than we've had for ??. I ALWAYS had every confidence that levy would see . that now the trainin ground and stadium done.. it's crazy not to invest in the team...NO DOUBTS they'll be a few hiccups on the way.. were toqttenham.... but I'm all in with jose...no matter what critics say. Woods and barnes..both can finish.... both are tuf and a proper 'little and large' 'old school' handful... They're lookin 4 their first win. Jose has to hold his hands up with this one..SERIOUSELY underestimated them, putting an initial 11 out, that half hadn't started for ?? Weeks and certainly hadnt started together... He's been at it at the top end of footie for 2 long.. and the other night was A HUGE mistake/ mis calculation....2 big a one imo. now he's shown levy what the second stringers are up to in HIS system. . gives His case for better players more creadance....ie out a few fringe ones on decent contracts that are gonna attract good money .. ali would bring decent cash and lossen some wage budget up ...but hey I digress .. If we're still in the top 3 at xmas.. then maybe I'll start believing.. HONESTLY..as per the last ???? Years. Decades. My expectations are low..
