They can't solve all the bike rentals parked 24/7, continuous biker racing, they drive down in a small pickup then back to Soi 9 for the evening this isn't a real police force it's an corrupt inept force. -

Mortality
Mike's right. I think same. When you're gone nobody's giving a damn. If I die now, in this hotel room, nobody knows. My few friends only know I'm "traveling in Asia", that's all they know. I don't tell more so they don't worry 'cause I don't worry myself. I try to enjoy remaining years. Or days or months. I'm not afraid to die. I still am curious how people live in different countries and like to mix with locals without getting too close.
