The bigger joke will come when the tourists get booted back out for a myriad of minor infringements????

What are those minor infringements for which tourists get booted out? Spray paining on a historical wall?

As long as you don't overstay your welcome and run foul of Thai hospitality that is... There's nothing more assuring to a first time tourist than to be greeted by a life size picture of a police/army officer in a stern look and full uniforms...

Actually he’s just inquiring if they have any travel insurance

Reminds me arrived a little bedore midnight New Years Eve luggage

was damaged and sent to file a claim. Walk in office just after midnight and was New Year 2018.

Everyone of the staff had drinks (alcohol) in their hands. I think quite a few had more prior. Good for them they were having fun

we are talking about TOURISTS (not long stays as most of us do) maybe stay for 30 days max, no time for minor infringements and no time to hassle with visa issues as we do

The Cardboard Cut up sums up the Big Joke. He is paid for strutting around in his flash uniform. Many people think he is Dumb when he is seen in this uniform The rest of the people know he dumb and stupid when he tries to talk. This must be the only country to pay a useless person in uniform like this. Oh to be a cardboard cut tout like this in uniform and be a high ranking government official.
