Hello,  I know this subject has been covered before but I’m finding the presentation of the paperwork confusing , so some advise would be very useful .

I’m applying for a settlement visa for my Thai girlfriend , we wish to marry in England. I have all the paperwork in place , but , I’m not sure if I need the bar code forms , some people say I need them , others say no, you don’t need . What’s the true story ? 

Also how do you present the paperwork when you send it to Sheffield, is it just a box of loose sheets, or do you ring bind it all ? Staple it ,,,, whats best.

I would say yes to bar code separators and no to staples and ring binding.
