I am an American citizen living in BKK and I am planning a 1 month trip around asia and I am not sure which countries require a visa to enter and I also need to get a tourist visa in the last country I go to b4 my return to BKK. I am starting the trip by flying into Hanoi(applying for that visa tomorrow at their embassy in BKK).

Hanoi-hochi menh(4-5 days) -Hong Kong(4 days)- Seoul(2-4 days)- Tokyo(1.5 weeks)- phillipines(4 days)-Bangkok

Can i get my tourist visa for bangkok at any of those countries at any time or do i need to get it at the last leg of the trip?

and is the phillipine s agood place to get it, if that's the case?

Veitnam is the only country that does not issue visa on entry, or entry permit at airport.

Believe most are 30 day entry permits.
