Thai man in sex extortion warning: Watch out for attractive foreign women!

This has been happening in Europe for some time. The scammers use porn videos of women, pretending it is them.

Ruined a lot of people's lives who have fallen for it. Even youngsters. Has even caused some victims to commit suicide, because if they pay, the money demands increase.

This apparently is a one on one scam similar to spam emails that have been widely circulated saying your email, computer and camera have been hacked and they will release video of you visiting porn sites, and what you do, etc, etc, unless you pay a bitcoin ransom.

It's very easy to do this scam , just copy an old video of a woman masturbating,  then go live on Line and pretend it's you.  Horny guys who only think with their dicks will fall for this trap.

But if it was me , I would never pay anything. Name and shame the scammers is the right thing to do.

How would she know any of his friends and family?

Do people not know to block people from viewing their 'friends list'.

Funny how the authorities never get involved when a Farang has been scammed out of millions and there is lots of them stories over the years, I think everybody knows one

At least a couple of decades ago I received a 'phone call from (they told me) some sort of 'phone porn site, saying they were 'phoning to find out why I hadn't paid their bill for the porn 'phone call service provided!

When I pointed out that I was female, so hardly likely to use their porn 'phone service..... the caller became aggressive and said it must have been my husband or children that had used my 'phone ????.

I then pointed out that I had no children and (admittedly lied) saying that I didn't have a husband either - so was he really suggesting that a burglar broke into my house to use my 'phone to make expensive 'phone calls to a porn 'phone site?  He then aggressively gave me a number to call to speak to their main office.  I tried 'phoning the number given and suprise, suprise - no-one answered.

I then 'phoned my 'phone service provider who said they'd look into it, but confirmed that there were not any premium rate 'phone calls from my 'phone, so not to worry about it.

In short, attempted scams have been going on for decades ☹️.
