Validity of "onwardflights.com" ticket?

Can someone explain to me when buying a ticket out of Thailand from a company like "onwardflights.com" what it means that the validity of the ticket is 24 hours? So when entering Thailand on January 22 and having to show the airline company a ticket out of Thailand within 30 days, when should I buy a ticket, in order to have the correct 24 hours validity?

Within 24 hours before you will be checking in for your flight to here.

The 24 hours is how long it will be shown valid if the airline checks online to see if it is valid.
