there is a shop on sukhumvit , somewhere between asoke and villa supermarket , that sells outdoor stuff , there is a shop in the emporium also , and a good one in mbk.

Don't have exact GPS co-ordinates, but there are about 3 well stocked shops on Lad Prao raod, on the north side between sois 71 and 101.

Also saw a good shop that specializes in four wheel drive equipment that has lots of outdoor gear. They are on Nawamin Road, if you are headed toward the Ram Indra expressway from Kaset. Easy to spot.. they have a "Hummer" sign out front.

Central Chidlom branch has a pretty large sporting goods section with a pretty decent selection of tents, bags, stoves, kits, etc.

For high end stuff you can try Siam Discovery Center there is a shop on the 3rd or 4th floor called Cam-Fis  which sells more expensive stuff.

For cheaper stuff you can try Atsadang Road between chinatown and Ratchadamnoern street. Right along the canal there are many military surplus stores selling tents, ponchos, sleeping bags etc...

there are also stores in MBK on the 3rd floor behind that area they sell all the t-shirts.

The Super Sports store in the Siam Central World has some stuff, looked like they're into it

The sukhumvit shop is next to the Rex hotel Sukhumvit Road( a good place to stay) opp Soi Klang (49) Its small but has good gear - including Colemans cool boxes, tents etc. The Emporium one is on the top floor. It has very good clothing but is quite expensive.
