BANGKOK — A South Korean tourist was fined 2,000 baht for assaulting a Suvarnabhumi employee, the airport said Monday. The incident was made public after a Twitter user on Sunday posted a clip of security footage, which shows the tourist walking through a full body scanner at the luggage checkpoint and being stopped by the female staff who then tries to screen her with a handheld scanner. The tourist tries to walk away several times then slaps the staff in the face during the scan. Popular Post holy cow cm
Wow. Are they both just ignorant? They actually make the Chinese look good. As for a white person, it would have been holy tamale on them thrown to the floor. 3

Popular Post Poopyface
Jail then banned. This is assault. Physical violence should not be tolerated and have steep repercussions. 2000 baht fine is a sad joke.

Popular Post Mansell
That wasn't just a light slap, she hit the woman really hard. A pity the staff member didn't deck her, but she looks quite a bit lighter than this angry stupid woman.

from the home of CC
Looking at her banging into some guy picking up his xrayed luggage she appears drunk (prior to slap), probably resentful at her partner eyeballing better looking Thai ladies lol. Another case of courage out of a bottle.

Popular Post SammyT
The justice system is so uneven over here. Those retards who drew on the wall in CNX spent a good week in a cell before paying a monster fine, yet she gets away with a piss-weak fine and presumably free to go home? She should have got at least the same as the graffiti dickheads 2

Another case of courage out of a bottle. She certainly appears drunk or drugged up. Her partner tries to calm her. She's lucky the person she pushed didn't react. And even more lucky to get off so lightly with a small fine and allowed to board her flight.

The woman who was slapped did not want to press charges, as the article very clearly reported that's why she was only fined, nothing to do with an uneven justice system, getting away with it or tolerating physical violence 1

Kaoboi Bebobp
Remember the female executive of Korean Air who went into a rage over a serving of nuts? And made the aircraft turn around!!!! There are more examples of recent Korean violent behaviour, according to reports. Koreans becoming more prone to rage
Oztruckie
This will probably explain the reason the security guard that hit that Chinese idiot a while back at Don Mueang airport, sick and tired of their aggressive behaviour, some of these things seem to think rules don't apply to them. bendejo
When somebody resists security checks isn't the immediate suspicion that they are doing so for a reason? In the US they would have started to close in when she pushed the Thai gal away, she'd be tackled for that slap; for about a year after 9/11 there were fully-armed soldiers at the security checks, who knows what could have happened then. So first they'd pull her away to the quiet room, retrieve her checked luggage, and proceed to do a thorough examination of all, including the rubber gloves treatment. By the time that's over they'll figure out where to take it from there, and if nothing else she'd miss her flight. Only a 2,000b fine? They should make her do the horse dance too.

Oziex1
Unreal isn't it they were falling over themselves to deport a young Saudi woman back to her hellhole country, instantly nabbed an Aussie footballer who still languishes in Immigration detention. But hey, assault no worries a small fine will do.
