Indoor Pool Chiang Mai Options

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone,

I have a shared condo pool attached to my place however it is outside.  I enjoy doing laps in the small pool around 30 min to 1 hour and try to do it 5 times a week.

Lately though as we have seen the air quality has been quite bad, 174 I am looking at the index today.  Probably not the best idea for me sucking in air as I exercise in the pool.

I was curious if anyone knew of any indoor pools around Chiang Mai (Maya Area preferred but will make a longer trek if need be) that allow you to have a drop in fee and use the pool, locker room, showers etc.  It does not need to be some Olympic sized pool, just something that is easy to do laps back and forth.

Anyone know of any good options around the area?

Thanks!

A swim pool with a big shade awning will have the same air as 'outside'.  And most likely a pool totally indoors will also have the outside air inside.

My advice is to swim as early in the day as possible, say 6 am. The air is best then.

You could hire a scuba diving air tank and swim outdoors using that ?

There is an indoor pool right next to Talaat Sansai (first driveway before you approach the market). It is completely covered by a roof. It's not a bad pool but during the hot season, the water is so warm that it is almost like a bath and not refreshing at all.
