Don't do that! Nearly had a heart attack. Thankfully a typo, currently 41.55.

Oops a slip of the finger - we have saved the Leavers from themselves you would think at least on this bright glorious morn some begrudging thanks would be in order rather than continuing loon-spuddery. If there was genuine widespread anger there would have been at least 2 major demonstrations by now - and by "major" I mean 500,000 or more. Twill be rabid frothing on the internet - we are not France order will prevail.

Former EU President Herman van Rompuy:
“...with their backs against the wall, the abyss in front of their eyes and a knife on their throat. We are nearly there. If some time is needed after the end of March then that will not be a problem for the 27.”

You mean white working class? Good to know that you, Laughing Gravy and Sanemax fit the stereotype of Brexiteers.

Why have you brought “white” into this? Have you got a problem with white working class? Why, do you think you are superior to them because of their colour? That’s a bit racist isn’t it?

In no way was the 2016 referendum dictated by "left or right", that really is a nonsense. Leavers and remainers on both sides of the house (as been illustrated in the last few days). Also, amongst my friends/acquaintances I saw no indication of a socialist/right wing split amongst brexiteers/remainers.

I don't even see it amongst the posters on Brexit threads, on this forum.

It was a metaphor for goodness sake. A fork in the road. Do you go left or do you go right. Nothing to do with politically left or right. Sometimes people need to slow down and read a bit more carefully, before declaring things as nonsense.

Its the Hard Right with their constant harpings on what it means to be "British" who kicked that off.

Yes I am white, I make no apology for it nor should anyone. I was born working class but unfortunately due to my education (later in life) and job/status I would be deemed middle class. Does it matter. Not one bit.

Why I class myself as working class is! I get up everyday and go to work so to survive. I wonder how many here do the same but consider themselves middle class?

Sorry about the job. I'm in the process of getting up and thinking about a massage later on.

With comments like this from creeps like van Rompuy and Verhofstadt, it's no wonder there was a popular leave vote. Maybe Belgium would be better used for sprout farms and nothing else?

Looks like the latest political developments on Brexit have caused some of the Hard Brexiteers here to abandon ship and go into full-blown Hard Right Conspiracy Theory blame mode. Almost like a scene in Mission Impossible where one of the lead characters tears off their face coverings to reveal who they really are underneath.

Ooh...how dramatic!

You may have money but you will never be deemed  middle class by the middle classes. You're either born middle class or you never will be. There are even sub divisions amongs the middle classes. Lower middle class and upper middle class, there isn't even any movement between these 2 sub classes.

You were born working class and you'll die working class. Own it. Vote Labour, vote remain and stuff the middle classes!

And stop being so bloody racist, the majority of people considered as "ethnic minorities" in the UK are working class, just like you.

One can either love one's job or go to work to survive. Stop messing about.

No you can love both. if i didn't work I wouldn't be able to live here in China, as I wouldn't be able to get a visa to stay or work here. So I wouldn't be able to survive here. Understand grasshopper.

Sorry, missed the bit where he tried to throw him off the bridge. More fake news from Brexiteers. Worse than Trump!

Turn your speakers on (after watching a few episodes of Worzel Gummage if the accent is a problem).

Damaged and irreparable, says poster. I seem to recall Europe (including the UK) managing to patch up relations with Germany after a couple of World Wars. Hype aside, Brexit isn't even remotely on the same level.

This poster does think it is irreparable. Irreparable with Brits themselves. Just ask the Scots, Irish and to some extent the Welsh. There is still dissent in some parts today. That's after been in union over 400 years old.

If you think that Germany, France and the UK are all holding hands singing 'Ging Gang Goolie' as best friends, then you are mistaken. It goes beyond football banter.
