Samui district prison visit changes

Just letting anyone know that visiting samui prison  rules have changed 

 

Before  you could go with your passport and visit 

 

Now you need to send a letter  from post office asking to visit 

 

Could  take 1 week

 

Letter  to address address attached

 

 

Plus dont bother making stupid comments  this is just information  for those who mivjt need it

To visit a prisoner in a English or Welsh prison which you can now apply on line for, the prisoner must first add you to the visitor list, then you can apply to get an visitation order by email.

I dont see it as a way forward before i could just turn  uo and visit

 

Problem is in Thai  jails is that the prisoners  dont have access to call cards and othet accessories 

 

You cannot put money in their  account  u unless your a relative

 

Cannot take a pen into the visitibg room to make a list of things to buy or phone numbers of relatives to help

 

But then again its prison

Which begs the question of purpose. Lack of freedom is suffering but seems that suffering is not enough for some at which point it becomes vindictive. Not good.
