Woman crushed under a truck, two others injured, truck speeds away, Kata Hill

A motorbike driver has died after slipping on oil spilled on the road. The woman fell off the motorbike and was crushed by a water truck in Kata last night. Two others motorists also sustained injuries. Police are searching for the truck driver.

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on Thursday that military style semi-automatics and assault rifles will be banned under stronger new gun laws following the killing of 50 people in the country's worst mass shooting.

Lady of the Hills: British husband could face prosecution for crime committed abroad

The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation reports that the head of Khao Phra Thaeo Non-Hunting Area, Pongchart Chueahom, has checked in to see the progress of a baby flying lemur and injured slow loris which are being treated at the Department’s wildlife facility.

Leicester City team in town to pay last respects to their boss

Drugs valued at Bt800m seized in three recent busts

Police have seized a total of eight million methamphetamine pills, 2,070 kilograms of crystal meth or "ice" and 1,546 grams of cocaine – with an estimated street value of Bt800 million - from three recent drug busts.

More than 1,500 hotel guests in South Korea were found to be unwitting performers for a community of online voyeurs in rooms carefully rigged with tiny cameras hidden in everyday objects.
