Crime Manhunt Underway for Suspect in Deadly U Thong Family Shooting
Picture courtesy of Siam Rath Police have launched an intensive manhunt following a deadly shooting in U Thong district on Friday morning, where a man killed three family members and wounded another in a violent outburst. The incident unfolded in village Moo 2 of tambon Ban Don around 9am, according to Pol Maj Maneenanthiya Ketkaew from Srayaisom police station. Upon arrival, officers discovered the tragic scene: two women and a man had been fatally shot, while a fourth victim—a woman—was critically injured and rushed to U Thong Hospital. Authorities identified the suspect as Paiboon, also known as Bas, aged 33, who is related to the victims. Neighbours reported hearing six or seven gunshots, initially mistaking them for fireworks, heightening the shock when the truth emerged. The violence compelled nearby Wat Yang Sawang Arom School to evacuate students to safer areas, given its proximity to the crime scene. Police have deployed six officers to reinforce security and ensure the safety of students and staff. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation, though early reports suggest it might involve a familial land dispute or other domestic issues. The suspect, known for a hot temper and frequently flaunting his pistol, remains at large as police intensify their search efforts. This alarming incident has cast a pall over the community, with residents urged to remain vigilant as authorities work diligently to apprehend the suspect and uncover the circumstances leading to this tragic event. UK DWP proof of pension eligibility.
First of all it does need to be a professional and it does need a stamp. But that is not relevant right now. For those who are also experiencing a delay in receiving their pension, especially if you have recently filled in a Life Certificate, the DWP are experiencing a very large delay in processing. My certificate was received on the 1st May by the DWP but when I called them today, I was told that it was still in the backlog but would be pushed through as I had called, and should be received within 2-3 business days as it needs to go through the banking system (which believe it or not entails being sent to a US Bank first, Citibank or JP Morgan, who process all the overseas pensions for the UK, before being returned to my bank in the UK). Illogical, but that's the way the DWP/Government do it. The number to call is +44 0191 218 7777. -
