Photo below is one of my Year 8 Metalwork projects.    Yep, a copper hash tray with an enamel CFC emblem coated on the inside.     I loved my footy club way back then.   Not bad work  for a 13 year old kid I say, but  dunno why I didn't finish it in blue and white.

 

Anyway, it had been missing for about two decades, until I went through an old suitcase in my dungeon and found it this morning.     I have never smoked, so it is in 'as new' condition.

And about your brown dog uncle WILL....my multi court <deleted>zu who is mainly brown and cream is not an early riser.....wont play with my feet at 6 am....but on weekends is ready to go from 7.30, and this morning in he comes for his massage i do with my feet...its a habit he must have picked up while living with my sister as one morning some years ago he comes in and plonks himself under my feet....so you know i tease him a bit by pushing him up against the wall or planting my feet on his paws so he cant move...stuff like that....a good bonding exercise it is......get him a Eagles jumper as you know Thais even in that hot weather love dressing there pooches up....windcheater girl brought over 3 coats for him one year.....

I think it's time for the AFL to shake up the MRP and get rid of the tribunal.

Just hand out fines and give the umpires the power to send off players for vicious assaults.

It has to be the fairest way.

The MRO/Tribunal is the biggest blight on the game I think.

 

Fines don't work IMO.

The only thing that will work is heavy suspensions.

 

If you concuss a player with an illegal action,

the penalty should start at 4 weeks.

 

The matrix for the MRO is a mess.

It's too hard to work out what's careless and what is intentional.

 

And then you have impact of low, medium, high and severe.

Most of the time, they get judged by the outcome, not the action.

 

Elbow a bloke in the head and if he's not concussed, you usually get a fine.

Same action and you concuss the guy, 2 weeks.

 

They should be judging the action and then take into account the outcome.

Those little AQIS beagles are often at the International Arrivals baggage carousel nosing through everyone's stuff, but I have never seen one at a domestic terminal.   I suppose with hardly any flights coming in from overseas this year the canines are being redeployed elsewhere to keep their scent sharp.   Poor Willie.

I read somewhere that when the dogs work somewhere where they're finding drugs on  regular basis, such as Mexican/US border crossing points they get regular lengthy "holidays" so that this does not happen.

 

Years ago I visited an old workmate who had fallen on hard times and ended up in jail, they brought a sniffing dog into the visitors waiting room and it treated me like my pockets were full of dog bikkies, it then ignored everyone else in the room.

Minutes later two officers came in and carted off one of the feral looking women who was also waiting and the dog had ignored...

They often have the NT police drug dogs at the airport in Darwin. They check for drugs going to the aboriginal communities. 

No Radar the dogs do not end up addicted.
