Apart from a silly 50 meter for not giving the ball back, what else did HR do Rip?

I reckon he sometimes gets harshly umpired.

He gave away an obvious free kick which resulted in a goal. He grab Heeneys ankle when Heeney was falling from a big jump above Reids head. Lucky there was no injury. Even the commentators were saying how bad he was playing. He did not like the hard tag on him and he did not know how to handle it.

Agree to disagree Rip.

An "obvious free kick".

If you mean this one where Sheldrick elbows Ginbey to the back of the head and Reid sticks up for his team mate, I'll take that every day of the week.

If the umpire did his job, it wouldn't have happened.

In the marking contest, he lowered Heeney to the ground.

There was nothing in it.

People seem to forget he's only 20 years old in a poor side and continually gets targeted.

Yes, occasionally his frustration boils over.

When Toby Greene or Zac Butters do it, they're "competitors".

Well Gents

A magnificent game to cap off the Easter round.

Uncle Alex will have a spring in his step after the Demons great win.

GrannyApples picked 7, so he gets the chocolates for this round.

He also goes to the top of the ladder.

It's still tight at the top.

It all kicks off again in 3 days for Gather round.

Until next time.

Come on Radar, what's your opinion of Voss?

My opinion of Voss?

I am a member of a Carlton FC forum, and yesterday I posted this:

ROUND 4
First Halves

Carlton Position: 1 Wins: 4 Losses: 0 For: 177 Agst: 103 %: 173 Pts: 16
Second Halves
Carlton Position: 18 Wins: 0 Losses: 4 For: 130 Agst: 296 %: 43 Pts: 0

Then some spanker replied with this:

"Corrected that for you. You don’t get points for winning the first half"

My immediate response was this:

"Thank you for the correction. I've sent Michael Voss an e-mail letting him know as well."

That may hint to my opinion of Voss, Will.

I hope you don't get smashed by the crows this week mate.

I reckon Vossy may hold out until the bye, unless there's some really heavy losses.

The weather.....what else? can they kick? balls flying past there ears, hand balling to the other team, what painful a game to watch, RIPPED OFF like 104 ex-wives https://www.9news.com.au/world/today-in-history-april-11-what-happened-on-this-day-vigliotto/e00f96fc-ae5c-47ff-8bdd-4f145c56f021

I was delighted the game ended, a marathon, Macrae and Longmuir should be doing 28 ys like Giovannu Vigliotto for pretending to provide a dream but in reality a fraud..

This game set me up, up to watch Netflix's Jay Kelly, 2 labourous hrs of a movies stars realisation he's a punce, George Clooney made it bearable but im dam sure if I had not watched that Pies Freo game I would have turned it off after 20 min, normally I refuse to watch movies about actors or actors who play actors, oh dear....hope its a better day at the footy today....

The cat at the doctors office mid week had more fight in it than those 18 pussys running around Adelaide Oval today, he stuck his claw into my wrist as I was playing with it, well I was rough, he was taking it until...bugger...Doctor said I could take him home, I just might as im going back in the morning then mail him off to the MFC to show what you need to play AFL, honestly I was tempted to pick the bombers as they have beaten us in the past two gather rounds, goes to show you the rest off the tipsters are not doing there home work...but you know, new coach new Geelong playing style...so we loose like the Cats doo....and .....baddddddddly...and to s.h.i.t. so that makes us the Spanish version of it which is merda....

King? one trick pony.....no plan B, well they rotate you say, that wasn't working....move a few duds around for heavens sake, That dud we got from WCE, ripped off we where, did he get a kick Billy? and where is he playing? he is a god dam wingman so is the other bloke who's freezing his nuts off at half forward...Rooooooooooyan....give the kid a spell down back for heavens sake, you got a swing man/men in Turner....and MacDonald ......and Petty...gees I know what we got better than this refugee from the Cats who's been involved in more loosing GF teams than winning...

We will learn the measure of Coach King this next weekend when we see how many he sends off to Casey for a week or two..personally I would just fill 15 slots with the women's AFL team...they would have at least scratched and clawed there way through the god dam game, yes im sick, and fatigued and belly is upset and watching those two games just made it worse........

I told you Culley was ordinary, but you wouldn't have it

uncle.

Guy's like David Swartz went way too early on him.

I think Essendon ambushed you.

You've been pretty good so far.

Great win for the Swans. Will be on top of the table after tonight.

Norwood Oval, boy that brings back memories, back in the SANFL glory days the fence/wall was even closer to the boundary and lethal to opposition players inexperienced in negotiating it.

That was a REAL homegrown advantage. laugh

Cully has talent billy, like a lot of his brothers pulling on a Dees jumper instills ordinariness..we now playing cat and pussy football, when your not on song you go down like a stinking can of rotting sardines, Like Brad down the coast Kings got no plan B and rely's on rotation, at least Simon would move his swing men, who said he couldn't coach?

Another of dem dar tats gs missing for large chunks of the game is Chandler, he is up for contract renewal I think next year, if he wants that 700k contact better pull his undies up..

We where not ambushed, the players where aware the Bombers had took us down in the last 2 gather rounds...they f*****g folded, King should have known it was a big danger game, every demons supporter knew it was a danger game, I would have been wild if I had not have been sick stretched out on the sofa watching them pussys...the cat by the way was nowhere to be seen when I visited my sexy doctor yesterday, little fella must have got wind he was gonna go to Melbourne this week...anyway 24 hrs is a long time, im fine today...but im sure a few would have liked me gone.....with the wind....lol...Demons.....there f*****g s.h.i.t....

Anyway King picked up his first demerit point, should have known, didnt make any meanfull changes.

Congrats for scoring 8 Billy, I would have been right there with ya if I hand not been in a semi feverish state.....and picked them dead beats..

Juno ---about Essendon, whats the players psychology (leading up knowing they beat us in the past then do it again), King-----Yeah not sure im no psychologist, im just a coach five games in, ummm I try and motivate the group I was aware of the history so I didnt tap into it too much bla bla bla.....

Janes Addiction- Been Caught Steeling, topped Billboards chart for 4 weeks in 1990, its the Demons theme song they dont play when the other team kicks a goal...

[Verse 1]
I've been caught stealin', once when I was five (and now in an AFL team)
I enjoy stealin', it's just as simple as that (low life bludgers)
Oh well, it's just a simple fact ( yep I see it week in week out)
When I want something, man, I don't wanna pay for it (means they dont wanna get injured so they can go shopping on pay day...)

Etc etc...

Anyway a stark contrast to smooth talking Simon who said a lot but told you very little....

That last quarter.....Pies caught stealing....

Yes you do...like when is a push in the back not a push in the back? 21 clearly shoves Dean (in the back ) who falls to the ground, takes the mark and goal, same time Macstay is clearly shepherding his Blue opponent from the contest...

And 5 min later Mckay head high tackle that puts him out of the game with an arm or fist to the jaw 35m out from goal its play on...

Seriously I dont often complain about the umpiring cause its a raffle, im tired of AFL meddling...we dont know what a free is anymore.

Ps MacDonald did a similar thing to Macstay a game or two back and was pinged against for a free.

Well Peeps

King is the coaching sensation of the decade 😇, yaaaaa knew it all along......have faith in the new board I do... 🤭 nothing like a blue collar coach to lead ya team...that type get them working hard....they do...

Hero's to villans to super hero's over night....was a good game, they never stopped running, you wonder why they couldn't do it last week to a much inferior team...never mind, we are celebrating, April premiers....yaaa....🥰

I knew you'd be up and about Uncle Alex😁

And so, you should be.

Reckon you're a sneaky to scrape into the top 10.

That's it for another round.

In a relatively easy round to pick, 5 picked 8 so there will be no chocolates given out this week.

GrannysApples still on top.

Until next time.

Some tougher games coming up this week.

I\m so please to see the endeavour from Kangaroos this season.

Just one change please Mr Clarkson,Corr OUT and give young Will Dawson a run in the backline.

Edited by farmerjo

No MORE Mr Nice Guys, Demons growing balls, a ruthless mentality with a Saracens sword, curved to fit nicely around the neck...A one Guerra falls, 7 months in...

"a challenging day, im puzzled by the decision made by the board today" and "engaging lawyers", Steve Smith former centre half forward number 35 to be exact, not a full back as reported by one journo, and former club captain is not playing funny buggers... 24 hrs later announces Dan Taylor Stan executive director as replacement...Thats what we want...no more pussys.....kick ass....

Smooth talking Guerra upset a few people namely players partners, something to do with the May biz, then its reported but not getting covered, the man has over steps his position, told to "cut it out stay in your office not mine, acting like Nero, little prince, peering into and bla bla where he shouldn't be....they got sick of him....board 100% behind the silver bullet...

I love it, too long we been the chill club where you come for a payday and relax at the beach sipping martinis...Im telling you even if we dont win another game fans will be smiling ear to ear to finally have got a board with no help from AFL like last time that is taking no prisoners...no bludgers, anyway I ran around poisoning the weeds at 7.30 am and now an hour later is frigging raining....Need Steve Smith to have a word with Thai weather ...

And I was bored, neither off the two games inspired me....so too lazy to go watch on the telly tuned one on on the pc, later splitting the screen with the second game....wooooooooooooo is all I can say.......

The Showdown was a brilliant (sorry Scea) game as usual.

The AFL can't give it a standalone game on a Thursday or Friday night that it deserves.

But let's keep giving them to Carlton , Essendon and Richmond.

Fair enough........

Looking forward to today's cripple fight between WC and Richmond.
