Agree Alex. Farce. Competition has 18 teams, so the mob that scrapes into 10th spot is actually in the bottom half of the ladder. The AFL is rewarding mediocrity, but of course more finals games mean more $$$$$$.

Anyways, on the weekend, wot happened to 100 percent of the teams that still have a realistic chance for that 10th rung. Stain Kilda LOST, GWS LOST, Carlten LOST, Norf LOST, Cold Ghost LOST. The door was wide open, but zero teams came a knocking.

Yep

It's all a cash grab.

I don't agree with the wildcard, but if you're going to have it, the two games shouldn't be classed as finals.

7 versus 9 and 8 versus 10 should be to make the finals.

Finishing 10th and playing in a final is ludicrous.

AND Eddie everywhere has a plan I believe, the AFL intend on implementing, I believe, caught snippets of it on one of those shows, sooooo it's more tinkering. next season if im right, its a bit like the World Cup, they expanded the comp but the expected teams still made the quarter finals, now there talking about a further expansion of teams which still means the same clubs will reach the quarter finals....

I dunno.....glad im not paid millions then need to come up with hair brain ideas to justify my position and salary in some orginazation...

Why doesn't Asean have dark mode?

The AFL have made an appointment for the umpires that umpired tonights game Dees and Cats an appointment at Speck Savers for the morning to get fittered with new long vision glasses....Those two cannot see more than 5 meters in any direction clearly, I of course am not suggesting they where the direct result off the out come but i do give my votes in this order

1-A to the umps, for the push in the back to Tom Sparrow after he kicked the ball and was falterned that instead of a free kick down ground directly in front of goal came back to Tom instead at close to the centre square...

B- for giving a 50m to the Cats that resulted in a goal when Langford who was 5 meters besides the Cat when mark or free given now i forget continued to run towards the back... like was he meant to just disappear? Mind you he did not move closer or cross paths with this Cat.

C- that tall Cat forward on at least 3 occasions was shepherding out the defender clearly impeding the defenders run as well as body contact, he did get pinged once....only...2 goals resulted from his actions...and thats just what I care to mention...

2- To the Cats, they turned up for 3 quarters, stopped us running and congested the ball area.

3-to the Demons, King at no time figured out how to counter the extra cat in defence, like he was an assistant there for 2 ys, Then, was like obvious, Petty playing well and kicking goals while I would have bit my tongue to do it switch Tom Mac and Petty as Macs man was killing us the entire game, we where lucky he ended up only kicking something like 4.5.

We were like a bunch of mosquitos in that first quarter, ala Blues of the 80s was it? we sure had a few uncooked key talls playing, but there got to get game time...Then the Cats, there good when there good...to bad they wont go far...

Drowning my sorrows after a sorry weekend…

That's it for another round gang.

Five picked seven, so no chocolates given out today.

Sorry RIP.

Getting to the business end of the year now.

A Brit who just started watching some AFL. The games are action packed, fast & chaotic. Players are strong & athletic.

(Mason Cox 2.11 m) It's interesting to watch. However, I'm not sure that the scoring system is the best. Sure, the player who catches the ball has done well, but maybe 3 & 1 pts would be better. Many of the 6 pt kicks are central and not too far out.

Entertaining. 👍

I guess many people wonder how people can watch a football match for 90 mins & it ends 0 - 0. 🤔

Marked Garry! 😭

Gutsy win by your boys Rip.

You paid a price though ☹️

Put it in an email to AFL house mate, they would love you feed back and likely to take it on board, there are 22 changes every f****ing season, we dont know what we are watching anymore....ahhhh I reconize the jumper but whats the game?

Jeez

I expect Radar to be up and about after yesterday.

I don't know what's more mystifying.

Michael Voss getting to coach 200 games over 2 clubs or getting employed by Fox Footy in a "expert comments" role 5 minutes after he got the arse

I watched the first 3 quarters of Carlton vs Brisbane yesterday.

That winning score is too high.

I just sent an email to AFL house and their response was, "What's it got to do with you, Pom!" 🤷‍♂️

Not happy the angriest I’ve seen King all season, and he’s instructed Stevie Smith to offer the Suns there 1st round pick back along with ours plus next years plus Sparows 2cd round compensation pick plus ours plus future plus plus for number 19, humpty dumpy, would fill out that blue and red jumper just nicely, then, a riddle for you, if you are going to break a 9 game loosing streak against, who is it?IMG_2504.jpeg

That's it for another round Gang.

A round with some upsets but Radar has picked the card in a sensational effort.

Needless to say, he gets the Aero Bars this week.

Even tighter at the top now.

Until next time.

I found Four N Twenty dog's eyes at MAKRO last week.

I've been popping them like Maltesers.

Ahhhh....well I found them over a year ago in the Pattaya macro, there mini 6 a pack annoys me but a taste of home, then, there is an Aussie pie maker in Jomtien, he delivers too, does a decent pepper pie put getting it its like buying an ounce of gold, moved to Phuket over a month ago....found a so called deli that....do the best ever Aussie sausage rolls ive ever tasted and, wait for it, the traditional aussie snag bbq famous, yep, tasted sooooo good....heres the link they deliver as far as BKK so you never know they may send them to the border... https://www.reallygoodfoodgroup.com/collections/sausages?srsltid=AfmBOopL8GHX3FHtjJh2bPYor_he6XNW1lorl307nn-Ei66HGN7tzYlI strongly

Strongly recommend, large sausage roll 85b and a pack of 5 snags was I think around 190...look them up...

The stock is a little different here in Phuket, Big C is not even the main supermarket here, nor is PTT the main petrol station...like living in a new country down here, and the weathers been fantastic....cool...and I love the rain...lots of it....yippieeee...

Mr King was noticeably agitated during that third quarter, his face changed as I snapped his pic to something more loving, hand over the mouth in the coaches box when talking to the assistants, we where looking down the barrel of a 9 game loosing streak getting snapped, and who better to do it against than us, You got to understand we have 50 years of trauma built up within us so becoming a glass half full over a pessimist wont change over night...

Anyway have to say this season its been refreshing sitting on the sofa and not jumping around like jack, id check my heart rate on the smart watch from time to time and its been stable all season long....

Well the Browns will start Deshawn Watson we are sure since his pay resembles something like Cleveland citys entire years budget, but young Sanders is there in the Wings... season is weeks away, I nearly coughed up blood, Dazn want 8000 to stream the NFL this season, it comes just after I paid for car rego, car insurance, bike rego, bike insurance, hospital insurance then some repairs to my condo, the TGF also expects a gold ring as a gift for landing a plum job down here, well...

Eddie is gone....what is wrong with the English press? Newcastle where looking like a slide into the Indian Ocean, one way down...Eddie Howe will be loved and admired for spending as much as Liverpool and finishing 12th...and his 3 main players wanting to bail out this year...

Spurs, well Mr Levie put them into the position there in hey? Spending big...and Ange? well in his early 60s is no fool, not like he's short of a bob, will earn enough for his entire family in 2 seasons in Saudi for the next 500 years....to live in Monaco....

The Lady sausage roll is delicious.

I've ordered online pies, pasties and sausage rolls from their shop in Phuket.

I'd like to try one of their vanilla slices.

https://www.ladypie.com/index.php

There's a shop here in CR that stocks them now, so no need to order.

Please Will!!!! You have obviously been away from Ozstraya too long. If you are going to use the correct name for a meat pie as a dog's eye, you should also pay the same respect for a vanilla slice, which is formally known as a snot block.

I was in Villa Market yesterday. Stood staring at the Twix, Bounty & Milky Way chocolate bars. More expensive here than back home.

Usually end up with a cheaper KitKat, Mars or Snickers. 🤷

The difference in the standard of the top and bottom sides is appalling, the top talent pool is spread far too thin and still they add new teams.

38B for the Twix at Phuket Big C super store, thats $AU1.68, hardly going to make me go broke if I buy 4 a week...AU supermarkets were very good at $1 chockies and sweets and twisties (my Fav) and other junk, helping to fuel the obesity crisis ....but hey we help saving money for our customers, yep getting them hooked on sugar was the plan, to keep selling processed foods....you got to love marketing .....you know Thais think them snacks they eat where grown on a tree in a plastic bag ready for consumption....

Mango and that sugar chilli mix, pure disgust....ing, them range of grubs, at least there pure protein, we dont talk about the cheap palm oil its boiled in that makes up 99% of the calories and a ticket to the crematorium.....

Then the range of disgusting lays and other chips etc, OMG I battle in there to find something eatable, so I hardly eat them...

What about when the miss drags me to the wet market, them large oil boiling pots, anything you put in there is pure death, ive imagined a hand rising up, trying to grab at someone to pull them selves out, the lay of meat stretched out in the heat, with flies buzzing around landing every now and then to add some flavour and hopefully good bacteria...All this because Steven May has decided to sue the MFC for 2m....I need to find a church....and go pray, this guy is sending my club broke...

Clayton texting Only Fan starlet, gees think Steven Smith could see this coming, who's in charge of recruiting? Phone up Sonny Weaver, (Kevin Coster) Browns head recruiter in the move Draft Day, he knew how to dig dirt up and spot the dud, and to think we could have got someone like Patrice Dangerfield but instead landed Steven May...

You are a rich fellow to eat them...I found something like twisties in cheese, 20 b a bag, im poor...anyway im on diet, 11000 steps walking around Central yesterday looking for a bum bag, found one I liked but not paying 1500 for it, well not yet, I might get it later when ive exhausted southern Thailand looking for one, and no im not buying a cheap black one from Big C either I have some pride you know...

Im off to Ko Samui tomorrow, 4.5 hr drive and then car on the ferry across...away for about 16 days, you see my partner is there now for like a week and a half, she looks after two hotels, one there building here and one established there, all she said when going for this job was she would need to go to Ko Samui from time to time, 2 days before her first stint I learn its for 2 weeks every month...you got to love Thais for dribbling out important information .......just before you need to know....Any way she got a tap on the shoulder she needs to stay longer this trip to Finnish a new job they gave her, so her boss took pity on me, I get to stay free at this resort untill the job is finished....so im moving my boring life to Samui instead of wandering around Central Phuket, for a couple of weeks, I know every shop in Central now and on speaking terms with the Filipino condo sales people, well I live next door, living close to Central Phuket was a requirement the partner did not understand at the time, so I did all my picks till end of season, seems like an easy thing to do, no surprises I seen there..,,I will continue the bum bag search over there, and send you breath taking pics of this resort...Im not one for lazing around the pool by the way..

I will miss my brand new bike, sold my Girono before coming down as I didnt think id ride down here, but traffic wasnt like id expected so 1 bout a click 160, with gold wheels, got to have the gold wheels, who doesn't love the gold wheels? its enough for a pensioner...lot of hills here, in fact one hill is such a disaster that connects east to west when it rains a few vans have got stuck near the top wheel spinning cause they haven't enough traction...ummm...its pretty hairy on the bike you know...anyway i dont ride on wet roads let alone when its raining, I have survival instincts you see...
