My distinction is based on efficiency, you brought the "superiority" into the discussion.

Some people will try to find happiness and serenity in material possessions. I think that that path is not efficient, simply because material possessions are not the source for true happiness. A happiness that is dependent on exterior things is necessarily limited.

On the other hand, a path that has recognized that limitation and seeks the true source of happiness, is in my opinion more efficient, because it has also recognized the sources of pain.

"Material possessions are not the source of true happiness"

This make me think of the, usually not well loaded people, who claim that money does not bring happiness,

it makes them feel better in their not always easy life.

But your answer is still ambiguous,

so my opinion about you is still the same :

you are pompous.

As I don't want to be vulgar, I didn't add the usual suffix.

Maybe you are special and you are the only one with that experience.

No, again...read up on kundalini and all your questions will be answered.

He is right about material possessions not bringing lasting happiness. There are many well off people that end their lives, as depression if not under control, will win out every time. Robin Williams is just one most people know. Everyone gets happy when they buy a new "thing" but that thing loses it's charm over time. I would love to have more money so I could complete my bucket list, but I'm always happiest when I see my wife and kids happy. This being a God thread, I really don't think we're supposed to be happy all the time anyway, as he doesn't want us to think material things are more important than our relationship with our family, and ultimately, with him.

So, what you're saying is...you can't argue with my points, you just have a problem with how I lay them out.
That's your problem. Hope you can get over it one day. Good luck.

You have no points, you only think you have.

It is your right to be haughty.

It is my right to think it is a bad thing.

I'm waiting with trepidation for you to argue the points, regardless if they are real or only in my head (whatever that means). All else (especially your ad personam attacks) is just mental masturbation.

From the beginning I posted that no one is above any one else in the matter of opinions in non measurable matters.

That no way to find happiness and serenety is better or worse than another.

Each of us has to find out his own  way which suits him the best.

You are not agree with me, and claim that your way and opinions are better than anyone else.

In my eyes your are an arrogant someone.

It stops there, all the rest is side issue for me.

We're here do discuss the topic, which is "Do you believe in God and why".
Do you get it now?

I get it,

some believe in God, some don't.

No one is more right or wrong than another.

Do you finally get it?

How much is too much?

When you start to believe in fairytales and try to get others to do the same.

Do you understand that above post is also just an opinion.

But ok, I stop it here, my opinion about you is that you are an arrogant someone, which I consider faulty.

You consider it is a quality, and thus you are proud of it.

As you have your opinion. Not a fact, opinion. So stop lying to people by saying god is real.

Glad you decided to stop it here. I have my doubts though.

You are right, not the first time I say it.

If I feel that your arrogance is again intemperate, I will react again.

But he isn't lying. God is real. Unless you can prove otherwise.

Backtracking on your words is something you do often lately. ????

Here's a thought....How about using your brain to argue my points, instead of feeling offended by how I make them. ????

So, "God is not real" is now a fact? Since when exactly? Please provide evidence, thank you.

What a stupid thing to say. For all you know, he has plenty of money but realized there are more important things in life.

Since God is not an object to be examined or analyzed empirically, but rather experienced empirically, your definition has no legs to stand on.

Hardly a unique experience. Many have found God in unexpected ways. They are just not all posting on here.
