Do you believe in God and why

This is as bad as Obama is the bad guy and Trump is the savior. I know many here believe so, but in my eyes it is as deleted as it gets when they choose to believe something that is not even close to the truth, or have no what so ever proof and only exists in their fantasy told many enough times to be a real truth among those who can not see.

The Bible makes it clear why God is sending a strong delusion in the end times: “They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Simply put, God sends a strong delusion to those who choose not to believe the gospel of Christ. Those who take delight in mocking and rejecting Him, He will condemn.

It is a person’s choice whether to accept and believe the truth of Jesus Christ as presented in the Scriptures. To receive the truth and the love God offers is in keeping with its teachings, “This is love for God: to obey His commands” (1 John 5:3). Conversely, to know the truth and not obey it is to face the wrath of God: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness” (Romans 1:18). Frankly speaking, there is no more dangerous condition for man than to know the truth and refuse to obey it. To do so is to harden the heart and make God’s condemnation sure.

When one knows the truth and refuses to obey it, he is subject to any lie, any deception, any untruth that humanity can conjure up. “For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:21-22). Paul goes on in the next few verses to describe the mindset and behaviors of those who disbelieve (see Romans 1:29-31). As a result of human foolishness and arrogant disdain of the things of God, “God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done” (Romans 1:28). And correspondingly, “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them” (Romans 1:32).

God is waiting for you to build the third temple on the temple mount.  He's not even going to get out of bed for anything less than this.

When you know the truth? Again, no human living on planet earth knows the truth, and the bible is written as a total wholy book of delusional texts to make sure most people who fear life and afterlife will convert. It is a perfect tool to collect every soul who have lost faith in life, or have something to gain. It have been a perfect tool to form out western lifestyle after tears, blood, violence and wars in Jesus and gods name, and it continues the day today. We have not seen the end of dark times yet, they are coming back for sure. We have just grown up in a perfect little buble, where we could breathe for little second, before it all start again, and you are part of those dark ages. Whe know what people are capable to do against humanity if they just get the right timing.Drowning and  Burning women, stoning, and genocide.

No respect for totalitarian beliefsystems Or politics. It is deleted and I can not express it strong enough!

While I certainly agree with you on most of your points and I'm also very critical of the bible as a source of wisdom, my main gripe is with people who only interpret the scriptures in a very one-dimensional way and think their own interpretation is the unassailable truth. We can see it in the discrepancies in the 2 interpretations between CMN and fred....both claim to be true Christians and base their faith on the same book. Their interpretations of that book though is very different and reflect their own nature and comprehension. And that's only 2 people! Imagine how many interpretations there are among 2.4 billion Christians living today!

And in the meantimeme forget the visdom of the great thinkers, who have truth and seeking truth, washed out with the water, since people choose fairytales and ghost stories instead of healthy visdom. Great thinkers long time before Jesus arrived. To many to mention, and to many great people who have been washed out with the water for delusional rigid systems.

I have to reformulate myself, "since people choose fairytales and ghost"

Since kings and governments choose religion for us!

Thanks for the compliment.

In fact I noticed some kind of humour in your post, but at the moment I thought it was worth to focus on another facet of reality. Btw, there was some humour in my reply, although probably not easy to understand by everyone ????

“God is love” (1 John 4:16). He is not some cruel monster who deliberately and inwardly delights in preparing people for everlasting condemnation. But He earnestly and lovingly proclaims the gospel of Christ, “not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

Throughout the Scriptures, God urges people to accept the truth. But when people reject Him and spurn His message, then—and not until then—God hardens them and turns them over to a deluded mind to wallow in their wickedness to their eternal damnation. This is what the Lord says about those who choose to reject the truth: “They greatly love to wander; they do not restrain their feet. So the Lord does not accept them; He will now remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins” (Jeremiah 14:10).

Only a fool would reject God's salvation.

The point is, we have to be careful not to throw out the baby with the bathwater. Even though they are covered with centuries of imperfections, the bible contains spiritual truths that obviously have helped a lot of people.

I claim to be a Christian because I believe in the one God, through his son Jesus Christ and his sacrifice, therefore I am a Christian. His beliefs and mine are the same. The only thing I stated recently was that the world has been proven to be millions of years old, and not 6000, like he said.

You have to stop trowing out dooms at people, like you know the truth! It is falsely and a crime against the free spirit and will. There will always be good and bad in the world and it needs to be balanced, and only trough teaching the good will, you can create a better world, not diverse it like religion does.

According to the Creator, the earth is around 6,000 years old and the Bible is the word of God.  Instead of just reading a few Bible passages, you should read the entire Bible.

These are God's words not mine.  The Bible is very clear, when we die we will spend eternity in one of two places.  The choice is ours to make.  Mocking God's word is not a wise decision.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

9. The  earth is a sphere (Isaiah 40:22). At a time when many thought the earth was flat, the Bible told us that the earth is spherical. Isaiah was written between 740 and 680 B.C. and at least 300 years before Aristotle's book On the Heavens. Secular man discovered this 2,400 years later. At a time when science believed that the earth was flat, is was the Scriptures that inspired Christopher Columbus to sail around world

I'm not certain what your malfunction is but you appear to have a reading comprehension problem or may have an extremely low cognitive ability.  However, if you are able to read and have a general understanding of what you read, the Bible is crystal clear about the earth being a sphere.

Everything God wants us to know is in the Bible, including how to spend eternity in Heaven.  It takes around 72 hours to read the Bible from start to finish.  This will be the best spent 72 hours of your life.

72 hours to read, but to completely understand it, takes a lifetime, and then finely find the truth when the hearth beats stops.

The bible is in best case a book you can find the answer you like, but chrystal clear? Nope, it is an answer for everybody, and thats why we have 1000´s of different meanings what gods words is.

You can call it the book of diversity!

A great deal exists beyond the realm of our knowledge. How then, being beyond our knowledge, can you be so sure "it's nothing more than energy", meaning "energy devoid of a higher intelligence and purpose"?

If you would like illumination then read the bible, book of enoch, koran and talmud.

then it will become apparent that all these books are authored by the same group of people, as is the new age religion of giant reptiles, black holes and trips to mars

It is all Abraham family, and brilliant masterpiece of generations of writings. The very first attempt on world Domination. Kings and Emperors adopted messages and created bounds across the world and Defeted enimies and conquered land in his name. Also made people fight to the death for the right purpose, and amazing people of Abraham still doing the same 1000´s of years later. Powerful but destructive books.

I didn't state that energy is devoid.

I merely suggested that religious incarnations aren't relevant to the argument.  The energy is 'God', if you like.

In Psalm 12:7, God promised to preserve His Word from “this GENERATION for ever.” Preservation served to prevent accidental corruption of the text during transmission. Also, this divine preservation counters the deliberate, concentrated war on the Bible by Satan and his agents. This conspiracy to pervert the Word of God is world wide, and dates to the most ancient of times. The Word has been under attack since the serpent deceived Eve. The enemy of mankind, knowing that the scriptures lead to salvation, causes man to doubt the Bible, reject the Bible, and even alter the Bible. The corruptions are as numerous as the heresies which spawned them. God has strengthened and purified His Word, that it may stand against this assault. Martin Luther once said, “The Bible is like a lion; it does not need to be defended; just let it loose and it will defend itself.” God has preserved His Word, and it can defend itself. Despite the opposition of devil and man, God’s Word remains pure, inspired, and inerrant. How do we know that heretics have attempted to change the Word of God? God has given us warning about heretics bringing perversions of the gospel.1 The Lord takes His Word very seriously. He has preserved it for us. He has commanded us not to change it in any way. He has also given us warning about those who alter it, and to those who alter it.
