March 6, 200719 yr Author CivCity: Rome, Civilization IV and just recently Test Drive: Unlimited. How is CivCity Rome?
March 6, 200719 yr I still get occasional bouts of Transport Tycoon Deluxe addiction, even though it's more than a dozen years old.
March 6, 200719 yr CivCity: Rome, Civilization IV and just recently Test Drive: Unlimited. How is CivCity Rome? Excellent! A lot less complex than a true city sim like Caesar, with many of the economy/strategy elements found in Stronghold (same producer)...very detailed and a lot of fun
March 6, 200719 yr still playing the original quake by id software occasionally. going through my game collection lately i dug out the expansion pack for baldurs gate 2. so i will be getting into that. and yes, my machine is a museum piece
March 6, 200719 yr Playing Call of Duty 2 these days, again. Doom 3 was pretty lame. The Medal of Honor series was all right. Quake was good, bought Q4 but on DVD and I don't have a player yet Half life 2 is a good buy, included Counter Strike source, addictive for a while, the Thai version at about 15$ and can be changed to English in options. Just finished Brothers in Arms, road to hill 30, that was ok.
March 6, 200719 yr I love Popcap games, got BF2 but my graphics card is steam powered and won't run it, got all up to No.2 though, Call of Duty 2 is cool and as above MofH series also, Vietcong Purple Haze & Fist Alpha are cool, got No.2 but also won't run, Farcry 1 & 2, Halo 1 & 2 Age of Empires 1,2 and 3, Age of Nations....... Crickey too many to list...... Oh and Leisure Suit Larry, Magna Cum Laude with adult patch.... its a hoot, whacky game
March 7, 200719 yr Splinter Cell series. All good. Ghost Recon Advanced WF. Need a 512 mb card though. Oblivion
March 7, 200719 yr Mostly playing Battlefield 2 my tag on that is TAQuiksilva, give me a shout if you see me online and lets get some good squad play going. I tried with Simmo earlier who also plays but we couldnt hear each other for some reason. Also just got a 10 day trial to World of Warcraft - I can see why its so popular, I could be well be playing more of this... I also play the following games occasionally: BF 2142 (not as good as BF2 but will do when the servers are full) Company of Heroes (mostly single player haven't tried multiplayer yet - but an excellant game) FEAR multiplayer (FREE = great game!!) Silent Hunter 3 (single player only so far), I also have Rome Total War, mostly just play skirmishes on single player FIFA 07 played online once or twice, but its hard to find local games.
March 7, 200719 yr Author Forgot Silent Hunter, a great game. Silent Hunter 4 coming soon? played SH3 on the old computer in German, great game...
March 8, 200719 yr Playing Call of Duty 2 these days, again. Doom 3 was pretty lame. The Medal of Honor series was all right. Just finished Brothers in Arms, road to hill 30, that was ok. I play COD 1 and 2.....I love it! Tony whats your name on the game? Watch out for THE DEVIL....lol

March 8, 200719 yr Games on my Pc. Farcry Oblivion Grim Fandango(keeps crashing at the start of year 4) FIFA 2006 Starsky and Hutch Same and Max Farenheit Manhunt I play these games now and again. Nothing has really got my attention recently.
March 8, 200719 yr used to love to play Quake3 (any kind) - it's the best game I could play "inbetween" for an hour or two, then get back out. I start it up now and again but nowadays it seems impossible to find proper game servers (ping < 100 and not full of weird aimbots). anyone know of any? all the other games I play or used to play are of the heavily addictive kind, so that's not good. I try to stay away from those. That's the reason I never looked at WOW - Diablo II offline was bad enough for me, thankyouverymuch, I played this to the last enemy basically in one go with short breaks for nutrition and sleep. And I was wise enough to stay far away from the online version Quake3 was perfect because I could just relax, let go, fry some people's asses with the RPG, then get back to work or whatever else I was doing in real life. No thinking, just reflexes and action and lots of frags - perfect. Does anyone know a newer game that does the same? Any of the FPS shooters? Of course I don't expect any of them to have the same frickin' amazing control that Q3 had - nothing squishy or imprecise - direct 1:1 connection to the mouse. Yeah! I miss it. In Doom3 I got as far as 5 minutes into the opening sequence. I really liked the old id games better, they intentionally had no story. You are a space marine, here is your gun, there are the baddies - nuff said! For story, play NeverWinterNights (1, not 2). An amazing RPG game. If you have it or had it you absolutely have to check out the 3rd party "Aielund" campaign. It's pure genius. Way better than the original campaign that comes with the game or any of the add-ons you can buy. I have played them all, Aielund is by far the best. Entertaining, spicy, dramatic, and incredibly well done.
March 8, 200719 yr For really cool RPG then Morrowind and the Elder Scrolls are 2 games you can get lost in. I downloaded Morrowind about 3 years ago and then the next 6 months of my life disappeared.........it was bliss. After I married I had to put it away for an entirely different blissful feeling. Now I have a ps2 and I get my quick fixes from ISS football, Call of Duty 3 whenever I am not working For my pc I have just downloaded FEAR, Half Life 2 and The Elder Scrolls. I will be back in 6 months to let you know how it was haha JAF
March 8, 200719 yr Xbox 360: Oblivion Call of Duty 3 – Stuck right near the end. If anyone has finished it let me know. PS2: Bully Hoping to get Vice City Stories soon DS: Animal Crossing Age of Empires – Have been stuck on Richard III mission for last 3 months I know this is a PC gaming thread. I hope you don’t mind a consoler chipping in.

Join us here, we support six languages. More info hit me up on ICQ 341076585 or PM me here. Have fun!
March 8, 200719 yr Carbon "The Need for Speed" is very popular around here. BF 2142 was for a while as the written instructions were in Thai, but the language through the headset is English ... so the headset was dumped and just blowing things up was concentrated on. Anyone tried Fanta Tennis? (P.S. the last line wasn't serious)
