Your baby can stay in Thailand until they leave the country the first time.. When leaving the country the first time you will need to have a passport for them and their birth certificate to prove they were born here.

When returning they would then need a visa or if from a country that qualifies for visa exempt entry they could enter without one. It would be best while out if you got them a single entry non-o visa at a embassy or consulate based upon them being a member of your family so that you could apply for an extension of stay based upon your extension of stay based upon working.

The would get a visa before entering the country and then apply for an an extension of stay at immigration that would be equal to the parents who has a extension of stay based upon working.

The could also change to a non immigrant visa entry needed to apply for the extension at immigration with a visa exempt or tourist visa entry.

oh good to read this ubonjoe, I thought that infants, toddlers didn´t need to have any VISA at all...

Children under the age of 15 do not get fined for a overstay but that does not mean they do not need a proper permit to stay in the country.

A child born here does not need anything to stay here until they leave and re-enter the country.
