Any dates for Pattaya? Trying to help a friend.

The embassy is apparently not doing the outreaches anymore. There have not been any done this year.

I think it is because the majority of people attending them were getting income affidavits that are no longer done.

Thanks Joe, He is nearly 90 - His wife has permission to do his extension tomorrow but his passport expires 3 Dec 19 - the embassy website says can do by post so I will suggest that. I hope he has a SSN number. I am not American so I do not know what that is.

 

Just read it again - Social security number. At 90 he should have one.

His extension will only be done to the 3rd of December. Then a new extension will have to applied for.

A SSN is a Social Security Number. I am sure he has one since it is mandatory to have one. I assume he knows what it is or still has the card for it.

One question. The application shows where to put the photo and has 'Staple' on all four corners. That is a bit extreme is it not.?

I guess they do not want it to fall off. Best to do what it says.
