The "TC" plates were a topic a while ago.

Just another proof that these are next season models under field test with camouflage (not having official certification yet)

Can someone tell what manufacturer they are?

Does this indicate that personalised number plates are available in thailand?

I don't understand your question in regard to the "TC".

TC is issued to car manufacturers for their vehicles under test (might stand for "test car"). A rare and very special case.

There are no personalized number plates to my knowledge.

All you can get are vanity numbers at auctions with prices going up to two digit million Baht numbers. And those are still in Thai script.

Romanization can be done for traveling abroad (Malaysia).

Should've taken a few more pics and contacted a car magazine. Might be worth a 'few quid' to you. Motoring papparazzi would kill for these. There are people who make a living taking these pics, hiding up trees at the Nurburgring etc waiting on something new from Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari going past on test. That's where the big money is. Not so much for run of the mill Jap family cars though.

And this is what the cars in the OP look like without the camouflage.

it would be interesting to know what is under the hood of those Thai Mazda 3 test cars; hopefully they are running the new skyactiv-x engines.

don't know why that are camouflaging them, as they have been released in most countries around the world for a couple of months now (mostly with the skyactive-g engine).

Nah, I think it's the MG. I think the sloped rear window gave it away ????

Interesting how its being branded as a Maxus, with no MG logos to be seen.

Not sure what SAIC is going to do, but they are either

1. Going to put an MG badge on it once it arrives in Thailand

2. Keep the Maxus name and make it a sub-brand of MG like what Hyundai has done with Genesis in the past.

Make a new brand in the consumer mind is expensive and time consuming - assume option 2
