Late on my 90 day report

Recommended Posts

Hello. I just checked today and see that I was supposed to do my 90 day report by April 29. I had the beginning of June as the time I was to do it. Anyway I will be off to the Imm office tomorrow. What is the fine for being a month late on a 90 day report?

I've said this before, I am constantly worrying about missing these dates and wind up checking my passport about once a week.

I guess you have a mobile phone, put a reminder on that.

OP ,just to make you feel good, the fine can go up to 5K plus 200 baht a day overstay, and possible arrest!

But some years ago, 1 day late cost me 2K.

Thanks, but having worked IT for 15 years, electronic devices have earned ZERO trust in my book, especially when you really need them!

????

I believe paper calendars are still available.

Did you trust your device to post this?

Do you drive a car?  That's a big part electronics.

Do you fly anywhere?   Electronics in the plane.

They can fine you up to 5K baht, but the usual fine is 2K for a late report.

If arrested the ‘standard’ fine is 4K.

The 200 baht per day starts at the point a fine is issued and is charged everyday until the fine is paid.

Being late to report your address is not an overstay. It’s not connected to your permit to stay.

I was about 3 weeks late and they asked me if I need a receipt or not, price without a receipt was 1000 baht and no write up or black mark in the passport. The nice fella was stood next to a "no Tips" sign.

What office was that?

do you go to the TOILET first thing when you get up......then put a big big sign on toilet or mirror in bathroom, reminding you when you have to sign in.

You can sign in 5-7 days before your actual date.......!!!!

Wrong. You can report 15 days before and 7 days after.
