Visa For Thai (soon To Be Wife) To Oz

Hi everyone

My gilrfriend and I want to get married and for her to come back to oz and live with me. I`m 27 she is 25 and I have known her for 9 months and we can`t stand been apart any longer.

I have spoken to migration here in oz and they said the best way would be for me to marry her in bangkok then apply for a spouse visit visa and a migration visa at the same time. then when we are in oz apply for a bidging visa until her migration visa comes through then we would have to go back to bangkok to collect her migration visa which would be a nice holiday anyway!

I would like to know if you guys think this is the best way and any advice would be great. THANKS

P.S. I have a good job and paying off a morgage on a house that is why I can`t leave and stay with here in thailand!
