June 16, 20197 yr By this time next week in will be in the 38's. The place that has maintained a good exchange is Philippines. 1000 pesos ( which is pretty much the average for one hour female company in AC, not Gogo) about 19 US dollars.

Well i guess no matter what happens with Ex rate so long as you can get your 'Nat King Cole' for under $20 that's the most important thing - lol.
June 16, 20197 yr What diatribe. Is this Bedlam? Low currency (nor high currency) is not an accurate reflection of state. UK manufacturing employs a huge number of people and contributes hundreds of billions to the economy - BAE, cars, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronics, defence, nuclear etc all churn out worthy products. Believe the UK is a mess - unabated movement from the EU, toxic politics and prissyness contributing greatly - but certainly not economically. The doom n gloom on here is typically through butt-hurt remoaners (gawd, they are annoying), sad individuals with an obvious chip on their shoulder fixated on bloody empire (really! who cares) and those who can't make it back home (where women are unavailable) continually stoking their fragile ego with inane comments. The guy comparing the education of his offspring in Thailand to the UK ????... never mind, how's their t'inglish coming along? These people should probably be more worried about where Thailand is heading, spiralling costs and their inevitable squeezing out by the army. The way it's going, a bag of pesticide-infused spuds and a sickly Thai beer will be a major weekly undertaking. Aside: Of that horrible verhofstadt character from the non-country, instead of berating the Brits, he should be more mindful of the Russians rolling over Europe post-Brexit.

Anyway, nice to see the mods continuing the TV way of allowing unabashed bashing of the old country. Carry on. your home country is not everyone's on here's home country Mr selfish, you bash thailand to bits then moan about remoaners bashing their home country.btw there are more on here claiming the UK to be the promised land than there are saying otherwise.enjoy the rest of your drinks

The EU didn't think (or care) about the impact this would have on the UK car manufacturing industry.
