Snake Scare

This must be the year of the snake rather than the year of the pig.  I had two more the other night, a 2 meter rat snake and another 2 mmeter cobra.  I caught and released the rat snake but the cobra was in a place where I could't use the snare so I offed it with the end of a Thai shovel.  I haven't had any snakes for a long time, but three already this year.

My septic tank is a large plastic tank. The overflow goes into a "soak pit" made of concrete rings and it has no overflow.  I don't worry about snakes in the toilet, just in the rest of the house  since, although they have screens, the windows are open 24/7 and those buggers can get in almost anywhere if they want to.
