Phayao Immigration Office

Phayao Immigration office has moved from its convenient location in the city centre to a new, purpose built building.

About 17 Km north of Phayao on main highway to Chiang Rai.  Not well sign-posted until you  find the building, and many locals do not know of its existence.

On the East side of high-way, next to a Temple with 'Bee' in the name.  Sorry I cannot be more specific.  It took about 1 hr to find with Khun wife asking frequently.

Managed my 'alien in residence' report, and will be trying retirement via extension next month.  Seemed to have many of the staff from the old office but nobody in uniform, or with name tags, which I have never known in a Thai Government office before
