Do tell how Trump's hollow move actually effects chances for "peace in the region". Do you imagine that Assad is in any position to make peace - at the moment, or anytime soon? If your neighbor stole your house and moved his family in, I dont think you would excuse him on the grounds that it's not as bad as Russia in the Crimea. You'd feel exactly the same as the thousands of Syrians who were ethnically cleansed to create the stolen land on which Trump Heights will be built. The poster "Trouble" is quite right.
