Most respondents to an opinion poll, conducted by the Super Poll Research Centre, admit that honest ministers, good jobs and cheap but good food are difficult to find these days.

Super Poll director Noppadol Kannikar today presented results of his qualitative and quantitative research, conducted between July 1st and 6th on 1,288 people from various occupations nationwide. The subjects were asked about their personal experiences of things which they think are easy or difficult to find.

When asked about whether they have encountered honest ministers, who are truly dedicated to the people, 86.4% of the respondents admitted such ministers are rare.  88.6% of the respondents said it is much easier to find corrupt officials demanding bribes or asking for promotion.

Good jobs are there if one is willing to seriously and diligently work and be loyal, traits that the young generation are sorely lacking,

good food at a good price is everywhere, but not at busy touristy yuppy places where price gouging is widely practiced, as for honest ministers, if you can find one, than you can also find the holy grail...

Honest ministers

Shouldn't the headline read 'Honest Thais' are hard to find? (Excepting the cab drivers who return extraordinary amounts of dosh to their forgetful owners on a weekly basis.)

Should have been the title shouldn't it;  "Corrupt officials way outnumber honest ministers".

They should definitely go for a little exploration in the Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark ... and realize that it is very easy to meet honest ministers

...and these are exactly the people who let it happen. Josef Stalin once said: "a revolution like our October revolution will never happen in Germany, as people may have to step on the lawn." Here they seem to be way too occupied with chatting on their phones in air conditioned shopping malls, pray to wooden logs for lottery numbers, and sleep half of the day if the boss is not looking.

Honest ministers and good jobs are difficult to find –

Double jeopardy when you have non representative ministers and got their positions from deceit and cronyism.
