I always had a huge crush on Tai Orathai. There used to be a video on Youtube of her doing the Lum Salawan dance ,very lovely, for some reason it is no longer available on YouTube , perhaps some legal issues. Here is a link to another site that I dot know how to embed in TV if you like Tai you will not be disappointed. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xo54c5 Here is another favorite of mine, has a long intro but worth the wait . Orton Rd
The Yodrak song above has already been posted earlier. I believe Grammy sent Tai to train with Banyyen Raggen to gain dancing skills for that MV in the dailymotion link. This singer is probably the best modern dancer of any Thai singer, used to be a muay thai boxer when she was young. Did a double act with her much larger sister. Kratae, wish I was as fit as her! Orton Rd
I did not post the last one cos the last time I did it got slated for not being 'Thai' music, by a moaning falang of course. She got in a bit of trouble for that MV and had to blur a bit out. Thais do have a genius for song and dance!

Orton Rd
Chulalonkorn University is hosting the 45 annual conference on traditional music, from all over the world. Tomorrows talks are interesting if interested in the history of Thai recording. KK Uni is very active in Thai music study. The Rabbit records mentioned was the Grammy of it's day, a book needs to be written about that.
