Flying Paper Lanterns

Featured Replies

hi!!!!

you know those lanterns with a little fire thing on the buttom that you can send up to the sky like a hot air balloon? there were a lot of them during new years. i think they are originally from chiang mai...

i'm desperately looking to buy one for a birthday party tonight!!!

found (horrible) plastic ones in thong sala, but not the (lovely) paper ones.

do you know of a place that sells them?!

thank you so much,

d

Sorry, no idea, never seen it here. It is generally a northern thing. You might try some of the new crafty type shops in Thong Sala.

Try the places along the beach at Had Riin

you can call ban paanburi on thong nai pan noi- they let them off there nightly
