Mauritius is not that safe outside of resorts and escorted tours.

I was married to a beautiful nut job from that island and there is a worrying

amount of physcotic inbreds running around with big scary knives.

Granted it has beautiful scenery and stunning beaches, but something similar

must have enticed you to Thailand before you became who you are now.

Emirates have a couple of flights a day to Port Louis, BA have daily flights as

do Air France, so it's not that difficult to get to these days.

Well that changed a lot the last years, it's also really business friendly - unlike thailand.

The problem with emirates and co is its a 14 hour and more flight, that's worse than europe.

The only good connection is bkk via air austral to reunion island which is french and then a short 40 min flight to Mauritius, around 10 hours total but again i can go to london in the same time so it's really not close from thailand compared to the maldives.

Feeble that, tell us how far that really is ?

Ambassador? About 2-3km outside city limits. That said, I haven't seen sukhumvit cleared for the cream colored convoy in years. I don't think the family stays there that often anymore. It's a very dirty area full of Russians now.

I used to see her often shopping at Foodland.  Never knew where she lived.

Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea.

Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire,
Kinfolk said Jed move away from there
Said Pattaya is the place you ought to be
So they loaded up the truck and moved to Jomtien.

Beach, that is. Swimmin pools, GoGo girls.

No-ones going to beat that one

Inbreds running around with knives strikes a chord
