snoop1130
Risk of no-deal Brexit is now significant, says Northern Ireland's DUP FILE PHOTO: A flag depicting the British Union Jack design and the EU design is seen outside of the Houses of Parliament in London, Britain, January 14, 2019. REUTERS/Clodagh Kilcoyne LONDON (Reuters) - The chances of Britain leaving the European Union without a deal are significant, a lawmaker from Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party said on Wednesday, signalling its support for Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s tough Brexit approach. Jeffrey Donaldson, a senior lawmaker in the DUP which props up the Conservative government, said the party agreed with Johnson that the only way to get a Brexit deal through parliament was to drop the so-called Irish backstop. “I think given the response of the Irish government in particular, who I believe are key to this issue of addressing UK concerns about the backstop, I think the prospect of a no deal is significant,” he told BBC radio. -- © Copyright Reuters 2019-07-31 Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking Thailand news and visa info

Boris doesn't have the authority to leave without a deal, all a punch of BS, parliament voted not allowing a no deal, maybe GE on its way tho and he will lose

3NUMBAS
The EU is the UK’s largest trading partner, although its importance has been slightly declining. Official UK figures show that 44% of all UK exports went to the EU in 2017, while 53% of all UK imports came from the EU. As a bloc, EU countries sell more to the UK than vice-versa. TopDeadSenter
Only waited 3 years for our democratic referendum to be acted on(possibly). Of course waiting 3 or 4 years to allow a labour govt to govern after winning an election would be likewise acceptable right? No?? 1 3

The backstop is there and will remain in the only deal on offer. The only ones threatening the Good Friday Agreement are those who will not face the reality that a backstop is going to be part of any deal they are offered. 6 1

No Problem. Unless Ireland wants to make one on behalf on the EU..... 7 1

A deal negotiated by and with the british govt. Nobody’s having that deal or the accursed backstop. The UK Parliament didn’t agree it three times. So No Deal it is.

Popular Post Loiner
Deadlines were extended by a Remainer PM. This one won’t. Do you really think EU gives two monkeys about the GFA? I doubt even Dublin is honestly that interested in it. Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect
