Saksayam

Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob has instructed the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) office and his ministry to come up with a joint logistics development policy as part of his move to steer efforts to improve the country’s logistics sector in the same direction.

A joint committee considering the policy will comprise representatives of the EEC office, Transport Ministry officials and members of the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning. The panel will be chaired by Transport Ministry’s permanent secretary Chaiwat Thongkamkoon.

I just hope they're not 'steering' it to a highway in Japan, using a non-Thai GPS.

Ah; all they need now is another 'Committee' to overlook the first one and another 'Panel' to probe the findings of the first one !

Need more little and big trucks on the roads...means more Bt300/day driving jobs....more traffic jams...
