NickJ Posted August 5, 2019 Share Posted August 5, 2019 An American friend of mine is planning on coming back to Thailand and getting hitched to his Gf. He doesn't plan on getting a visa and thinks he can just show up. It's been 15 years since I went through the procedure. So all my info is ancient. Is there anything he should know? Preacher Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 There is no requirement to have a non-immigrant visa to get married. He should look on his embassy website for the requirements for them to issue a letter that he is not married. If he was married before he needs additional documents to show he has divorced.
