Tb Testing Iom Bangkok

Featured Replies

Just had the girlfriend phone for an appointment with IoM and she says she was told that she has to have held her Thai passport for 6 months before testing. Is this correct ?as I dont remember this mentioned before. Can't see this as a requirement anywhere on the details of whats needed on the embassy pages.Anyone done this recently?

Wife got new passport few days before Christmas and TB certificate on 10th January.

Certificate is valid for 6 months.

I reckon there's some misunderstanding somewhere. Give them a ring yourself they speak good English.

When I phoned IoM again there was no mention of the supposed 6 month requirement and got appointment for

9.30 this morning.

Arrived spot on time inspite of the traffic, and was in and out and over to the hospital and back with Xray and had the certificate all in just two hours!Three of us went to hospital by taxi one way and back by BTS couldn't have been easier.

Just hope the next stage goes the same way.
