Anyone know if a translated TM30 form is an acceptable proof of address.

The clue is in the topic heading - passport renewal.

What in the world does passport renewal has to do with TM30? TM30 is done at Thai Immigration. Passport is done at an embassy or at the police station/municipality building in ones home country.

The only thing is that if you go out of the country for a passport renewal, you will have to file a TM30 within 24 hours after you re-enter the Thailand.

Because the list  for documents to show proof of address says -"an immigration document". I am well aware of the TM30 procedures. You obviously do not know so no point replying.

Ok, but if it says an Immigration document then you probably have your answer there.

I went to Sakon Nakhon to have my extension transferred to my new passport in January/February. 

I have a TM30 in my passport from that time and dated one of those months. Sorry partners English not good enough to tell me which.

I did not exit the country and have not since 2017.

I can only assume that they put a new one in although they never said at the time.

I just renewed my passport and a translated TM30 works, passport office told me to have it done.
